Most would look at this faux leopard fur coat and think 50s, but it's really from the early 60s. No older than 1963, according to the ILGWU label. This is a heavy mid length winter coat, with an aline swing silhouette. This has openings at sides of waist to insert a belt, but the belt tightens the waist and lets the back flow free (that's "watteau"). Belt shown not included so you'd have to find one. Sleeves are WIDE, 3/4 length with windbreakers! See photo 9. The taffeta lining is elasticized so the wind can't blow up the sleeve. Fully lined in black taffeta. Double breasted. The buttons are all new. A fabulous 50s / early 60s look! YOU WERE WONDERING ABOUT CONDITION? Windbreakers are faded at arm openings, no belt, no flaws, not dirty, but it has not been dry cleaned as I no longer have a reliable dry cleaner who will take on vintage!
