This gorgeous red dress was handmade in the late 1970's - early 1980's for a runway show by a local Los Angeles, Californian designer. It features dramatic and romantic flaring bell sleeve and a flattering empire waistline that can be adjusted by a drawstring (drawstring is hand made in same red fabric as dress). It has a babydoll type silhouette with a long length that would be floor length on a shorter person or mid calf length on a taller person. It closes via a center back zipper has a clean and elegant neckline. The fabric has a silky drape and is probably polyester. It also has a fun and subtle asymmetrical slit on one side (14" length from hem), making it very movable and comfortable to wear. There is no sizing tag but it fits a wide variety of sizes due to it's drawstring waist... very oversized on a S, loose / relaxed on a M, most suitable for a L, and very fitted on an XL.
