綿コーマに、古くから高級麻織物産地として知られる滋賀県湖東産地の「擬麻（ぎま）加工」を施した糸を使用した2トーンのクロシェニットハット。擬麻加工糸は、蒟蒻を原料とした天然素材由来の特殊な樹脂でコットン糸を加工し、独特のシャリ感と清涼感が特徴。
従来は夏用の座布団や寝具に用いられてきました。
