This lovely vintage ensemble from Hanae Mori features a micro-pleated and lace ruffled neckline with a long column of self-covered buttons for closure. The very full sleeves terminate in cuffs that have the same pleats and lace treatment as the neckline. The silk charmeuse fabric is bias cut for a beautiful drape. The skirt is a simple, A-line style; it's possible that it has been altered in the waist. Both pieces are unlined. We are uncertain about the age of this dress, but the label matches a style found in Hanae Mori apparel from the 1980s. No size label is present, but it seems to fall in the range of size 10.
