The GroundHex Stabilizer system is a practical, low-maintenance ground reinforcement solution designed for both equine and cattle facilities. It’s ideal for laneways, feed areas, gateways, wash bays, and other erosion-prone spots. The system installs directly over compacted soil, eliminating the need for expensive concrete foundations while keeping high-traffic areas firm and mud-free.
Heavy-duty load bearing – built to withstand horses, cattle, and farm vehicles.
Free-draining surface – keeps areas drier and easier to clean.
Prevents erosion – especially around feed pads, troughs, gateways, and holding areas.
Cost-efficient setup – no need to pour a concrete slab.
Improves animal welfare – reduces slipping, lameness, and hoof problems in wet or unstable areas.

The GroundHex Stabilizer is made from recycled polypropylene in a honeycomb grid structure. This design makes it lightweight, easy to install, and extremely durable under the pressure of both horses and cattle. Panels come pre-clipped for quick installation and can be cut to size when needed.
Level and prepare the area.
Spread and compact a base layer of crusher dust or fine gravel.
Lay GroundHex Stabilizer panels one at a time, locking them together.
Tap panels into place with a rubber mallet.
Cut panels to size where required.
Fill the cells with crusher dust, sand, or soil.
Compact the surface.
Optional: Lay rubber mats directly over the stabilizer in areas needing extra traction or comfort (e.g., cattle holding yards, stables, wash bays). Use fixing screws if secure fastening is required.
