This cute day dress probably dates to the late 1950s - love the print! The short sleeved bodice is fitted with vertical and horizontal darts. The slightly A-line skirt is gently fitted at the waist, and features two large slash pockets set off with wide self-fabric binding. The binding is echoed along the vee neckline, notching at the placket. The dress, as currently structured, does not open at the waist. It would be fairly simple - and period correct - to open the placket 6 - 8" below the waist, adding snaps or hooks & eyes for security.

CLOSURES: The bodice closes with four pearly plastic light blue shank buttons.

CONDITION: No stains, holes or tears. I have repaired a small open seam in the left rear armhole.
