This gorgeous 1970s Gunne Sax seems less adorned than some other styles, but don't be fooled. So many small details make it shine as only a Gunne Sax can. The dress is pleated from the shoulders down adding fullness as it lengthens. The lace and ribbon on the neck are classic and detailed. The sleeves are a prairie style with buttons and lace at the ends. The big ruffle at the end of the dress finishing with lace at the hem is so fun! It has pockets too!This dress didn't have a tie belt, but I added a ribbon for the first picture to envision what it could look like if you prefer a belted dress. The ribbon does not come with the dress.I don't see any fading or flaws in the dress. It has been stored well. This was found in a huge 4 story classic home deep in a closet! What a fun find and the dress has so much more life in it!Tag women's vintage size 13 which is a small to medium depending how you size yourself.Because the dress is a loose style there may be some flexibility to the sizing, but the bust and arms should be measured carefully.
