Słynny brytyjski zespół rockowy, którego centralną postacią jest wokalista, gitarzysta i flecista Ian Anderson, powstał w 1967 roku. Jethro Tull początkowo poświęcili się eksperymentalnemu blues rockowi, ale później ich muzyka wchłonęła elementy muzyki klasycznej, folku, jazzu i hard rocka. W 1969 roku zespół znalazł się na szczycie brytyjskiej listy przebojów z albumem Stand Up, ale to płyta Aqualung z 1971 roku zapewniła mu nieśmiertelną sławę.
Zespół upamiętnia czterdziestą rocznicę wydania swojego czternastego albumu studyjnego, wydanego w połowie w kwietniu 1982 roku, rozszerzoną reedycją 4LP gdzie znajdują się nowe miksy Stevena Wilsona i dema.
