Struck 1754 during the short reign of King Ferdinand VI at the Potosi Mint (mint mark P, assayer C). Well struck on thick uneven planchet, approx 30 x 33mm. Two dates: (754, 54), one denomination (8), one mint mark (P) and two assayer letter (C). Dies clocked with coin rotation, quite rare as such. Certified by NGC to AU Excavation Recovery, part of the Cerro Rico Hoard
